La agresión: explicaciones desde la psicología
Resumen
En este trabajo exploro el tema de la agresión desde sus orígenes en la literatura, con especial énfasis en el contexto laboral. Dentro de este recorrido utilizo como marco de referencia cuatro áreas medulares de la psicología: filosófica, fisiológica, cognitiva y social. Examino así las definiciones de los conceptos “violencia” y “agresión”. Recomiendo utilizar el término agresión para incluir una diversidad de conductas que van desde la incivilidad hasta la violencia. Esta gradación permite distinguir diferentes actos de agresión menor lo cual tiene el potencial de prevenir que desencadenen en violencia. Concluyo este ensayo con algunas propuestas aplicables al mundo laboral que pueden contribuir a atender la agresión desde sus fases tempranas y a prevenir la violencia.
