Validación empírica en el Perú del constructo de ciudadanía docente universitaria

Este artículo muestra cómo el constructo de los comportamientos de ciudadanía de los profesores universitarios fue validado en el Perú. 236 estudiantes de pregrado de una Universidad peruana describirán los comportamientos de ciudadanía de sus profesores y les atribuirán una puntuación de desempeño. Los resultados sugieren que la estructura de cuatro factores (comportamiento participativo, orientación práctica, concienciación, cortesía) que ha sido encontrada por Rego y sus colaboradores en Portugal y Brasil se replica en el Perú, con buenas propiedades psicométricas. Los índices de ajuste son satisfactorios, los Lambdas son superiores a 0.60 y los Alphas de Cronbach son iguales o superiores a 0.77. Las cuatro dimensiones explican 39% de la varianza de la puntuación de desempeño, aunque este valor sea más elevado en determinadas sub-muestras. En general, los resultados muestran que el constructo tiene validez transcultural y que los CIDOCE contienen potencialidades de mejoría de la calidad en la enseñanza superior.

 

Abstract

This research report shows the way the Citizenship Behavior construct of university professors was validated in Perú 236 graduated students of a university described professors citizenship behaviors and evaluated their teaching performance. Results obtained suggest that the four factors structure (Participative Behavior, Practical Orientation, Consciousness and Courtesy) found by rego and collaborators, in previous research done in Portugal and Brasil, are replicated in Perú, with good psychometric properties. Goodness of Fit indexes were satisfactory, Lambdas over 6.60 and Crombach Alphas over 0.77. All four dimensions explained 39% of variance in professors classroom performance. Results obtained showed trans-scultural validity for the construct and also that CIDOSE contain potentialities for improvement of superior education quality.
